thanks for dropping by. it’s good to find people with the same interests and favorites. I never got the chance to see them perform live ~ that makes my life incomplete.
I so love them and Gates has definitely one of the softest voice ever lived. he’s such a legend.

Hi Anna, like you I’m a fan of Bread and David Gates in particular and had the pleasure of seeing him play live in London a few years ago. He was flanked by two young guitarists and wearing his cowboy hat and they produced that Bread sound perfectly and it was a privilege to be there. I must admit it brought a tear to my eye to listen to such perfection – superb ! There are so many of his songs that I could have as my favourite, apart from the hits – I love Sail Around The World, Friends & Lovers,London Bridge, Dismal Day but I think my choice would be Look At Me -I love it. It was a real treat when he released Find Me, not so long ago, which goes to prove that he can still write those beautiful soft love songs that he brought to our attention all those years ago.I hope he comes over to England pretty soon because we’d love to see him again and listen to his songs that will last forever.

The song was written and originally sung by Leslie Pearl in her debut album “Words & Music.” I prefer Leslie’s version of this song. If you search YouTube, you can find Leslie’s song.

I don’t know why Leslie Pearl never had much success as a singer. Since I can’t find any photos of Leslie and she never promoted her album, I’ve got to think that she didn’t have the “beauty” as Crystal Gayle so she remained behind the scene. It’s unfortunate because she’s so talented.

I searched high and low for many songs from Dawson’s Creek because they were SO poignant to many episodes and situations that arose, and as you stated, they brought out emotions. I managed to over a few years download almost every song I looked for.

NOW, after I bought all the seasons of Dawson’s Creek, after some emotional upheaval in my own life I was able to sit down and start watching them, only to find out that the company/director whomever, CHANGED the songs on the episodes!!!! What is up with that??!!! When Pacey leaves at graduation, that was Drops of Jupiter and they replay Fields of Gold. Where Joey told Pacey they couldn’t be, because she chose her friendship with Dawson over him, that was In Your Keeping and I don’t know what song they have now!! It was upseting to say the least.

Now I am just hoping that when they websites music guide comes back, they didn’t edit it to put in what music is NOW on the episodes instead of what WAS on the episodes. That is why I keep looking, because I want to know what songs they replaced so I can think of them where they belong and not these sissy songs they replaced them with.

Sorry for ranting.

E – It was your birthday a few days ago and I was missing your crazy laugh – I’m praying for your wife and kids. I can’t believe it’s been 13 years since we first met and almost two years since we lost you. They say your music career started in 1999 in California, but I won’t ever forget packing the gear into the truck in 1997 and driving to Sheboygan with you, Derrick, Sean, Sasha, Jim, and the rest of the crew. I still listen to the Kaifs CD that almost was, and I will always remember you as that goofy kid shredding that Gibson SG. you might want to install recaptcha tool on this blog. it will solve 100% of spamming problems. and you do not have to delete it manually. it just wont accept spam comments.

Jennifer Hudson sang a number from West Side Story. This concert was the best I had ever been to, the huge number of celebrities who introduced the numbers was amazing! (Harrison Ford, Kate Hudson, Charlize Theron, Billie Bob Thornton, etc).

well, I have heard that Michael Jackson is coming back. I do not aprove of this because he is not like by most people. The way he acts is frowned upon by many and i don’t think Jackson 5 is going to be a success.
