“The Man from Manila” Finally Went Home
Many may have not known the “Man from Manila”, Francis “Kiko” Magalona but he’s the first artist to release a “rap” album in the Philippines. It was during 1990’s when the album, Yo! came out and changed the way Filipinos looked at their music. Francis Magalona is also called the Master Rapper due to his amazing talent in rapping and song writing.

The entire Philippines is mourning to the lost of a nationalist and a proud Filipino. Francis Magalona died last Friday, March 6, 2009 at the age of 44 due to the cancer of the blood or leukemia. Some of his popular songs include “Mga Kababayan Ko”, “Kaleidoscope World”, “Meron Akong Ano” and “Cold Summer Nights”. Francis M is also a photographer and a host from the longest running noon time show, Eat Bulaga.
