hi! Don,

thanks for dropping by. it's good to find people with the same interests and favorites. I never got the chance to see them perform live ~ that makes my life incomplete.
I so love them and Gates has definitely one of the softest voice ever lived. he's such a legend.

Hi Anna, like you I'm a fan of Bread and David Gates in particular and had the pleasure of seeing him play live in London a few years ago. He was flanked by two young guitarists and wearing his cowboy hat and they produced that Bread sound perfectly and it was a privilege to be there. I must admit it brought a tear to my eye to listen to such perfection - superb ! There are so many of his songs that I could have as my favourite, apart from the hits - I love Sail Around The World, Friends & Lovers,London Bridge, Dismal Day but I think my choice would be Look At Me -I love it. It was a real treat when he released Find Me, not so long ago, which goes to prove that he can still write those beautiful soft love songs that he brought to our attention all those years ago.I hope he comes over to England pretty soon because we'd love to see him again and listen to his songs that will last forever.
Regards
