Sunday Easy Listening
Easy Listening music, according to Wikipedia is one of the well-known music genres during the mid-20s. This kind of music is always associated to beautiful and light music.
Nowadays, we barely hear this type of music as we are flooded with futuristic and Hip-Hops. However, in our home, Sundays are easy listening and back to basics days. My pop would always set the DVD with the music of the past and have it played after going to the church. That would be a whole day of reminiscing for him and my mom while doing their Sunday chores.
I admit that I’m an 80s baby but sometimes I’m becoming more of person that blast from the past. More often than not, I would amaze other people because I know such music and be able to sing with it.
I just want to share with you some notable singers that my father would always love to hear on Sundays. Until now, I don’t know where he got his collection! Maybe from limewire… har har…
