Well, I might be just a little bit late on this one, since High School Musical 2 just premiered tonight on the Disney Channel in Manila.  And yes, the guys and gals of East High School once again wowed kids and teens with this one, gaining 10 million more viewership than the first movie.

Both High School Musical 1 & 2 became worldwide hits, maybe ’coz they both have nice plots and a great soundtrack! The High School Musical 2 Soundtrack was released August 13 & 14 in different regions internationally. The album sold a whopping 1.4M copies in 3 weeks!
